The RAINBOW FLOW light-curing composite (orange, yellow, green, blue, violet, pink) is designed for:

  • filling cavities in deciduous and permanent teeth as the first layer in Class I and Class II cavities and for filling Class V cavities,
  • sealing fissures,
  • for marking the mouth of root canals.

When using composite materials, it is not advisable to employ preparations containing eugenol, as this may disturb the composite polymerization process.

Ingredients:

methacrylate resins (bis-GMA, UDMA, TGDMA), inorganic filler 62%, pigments, photoinitiator, inhibitor.

Available packages:

Description

Handling the product

Before treatment, dip the included applicator in spirit (ethyl alcohol) and then place it on a syringe.

• Filling cavities, sealing fissures:
Cover the treated cavity/fissure with a bonding system according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
Fill the cavity with a composite layer of no more than 2 mm in thickness. Then, cure with a dental curing lamp for 30 seconds with light intensity of at least 550 mW/cm². It is recommended that the distance between the light source of the dental curing lamp and the restoration surface should not exceed 2-3 mm. If necessary, apply another layer of the material and cure again.
For the layered application of RAINBOW FLOW, do not disturb the oxygen inhibition layer formed on the previous composite layer.
RAINBOW FLOW can be worked and polished directly after polymerization using standard methods for composite materials.

• Marking the mouths of root canals (after permanent filling of the root canal):
Apply a bonding system to the canal mouth according to the manufacturer’s instructions, then apply a composite layer of approx. 2 mm in thickness and cure with a dental curing lamp for 30 seconds. The composite material helps to accurately locate the mouths of closed root canals during the next visit.

After squeezing the material out of the syringe, release the plunger to prevent further outflow of the material.
Immediately after using the preparation, withdraw the syringe plunger and close the package with the original cap in order to avoid polymerization of the preparation in the syringe.
The product is intended for multiple use, while the applicator is for single use only. Reusing the applicator may pose a risk of secondary infection.
