SPIT SPOT

INTENDED USE
Disposable dental cuspidor liners SPIT SPOT are intended for use as an accessory to a medical device – a dental unit – during dental procedures.

The device is placed in the cuspidor bowl to collect contaminants generated during dental procedures, including saliva, liquids, organic debris, and small waste materials. The device supports the safe and hygienic use of the dental unit in accordance with its intended purpose and limits direct contact of personnel with potentially biologically contaminated material during emptying and cleaning of the cuspidor.

SPIT SPOT is intended for single use in dental practices by dentists. The device is not intended for direct contact with the patient’s body and is supplied non-sterile.

PRECAUTIONS
Inspect the packaging and the product prior to use. Do not use if the device is damaged, soiled, or deformed. This device is intended for single use only. Do not reuse. After use, the device may contain potentially biologically contaminated material. When removing the liner, use personal protective equipment in accordance with the protocols in place at the dental practice, in particular protective gloves, and, where necessary, a protective mask, goggles, or a face shield. Do not leave the used liner in the cuspidor after completion of the dental procedure. Do not use the device if its size or shape prevents correct placement in the cuspidor bowl or interferes with liquid drainage from the dental unit.

In the event of a serious incident related to the device, this must be reported to the manufacturer and to the competent authority of the Member State in which the user or patient is established.

STORAGE
Protect from moisture.

DISPOSAL
After use, the device may be potentially contaminated with biological material or other contaminants generated during the dental procedure. Dispose of the used device in accordance with the facility’s protocols for medical or potentially infectious waste, and in compliance with local regulations.
