WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS
In case of blister damage do not open the product.
The product may contain residues from ethylene oxide sterilisation at an acceptable level according to EN ISO 10993-7. Re-use poses a risk of infection. Do not reuse. The product is intended for single use only. If the ENDO-TOP sterile packaging is damaged or has been unintentionally opened before use, the product should not be used because sterility is no longer guaranteed.
Do not use the ENDO-TOP needle if it is damaged, visibly defective or broken. When flushing the root canal, measure its length and then set the stop (endostop) on the needle to a depth of 1-1.5 mm less than the measured working length. Inserting the needle to this depth minimises the risk of it getting stuck in the canal. Pay particular care when working in the root apex region, where the canal may be more tapered or twisted. The fluid should be introduced into the root canal with continuous pumping movements. When preparing the root canal, do not use too strong a fluid jet, as this may cause the fluid to penetrate the periapical tissues. If resistance is encountered during needle insertion, the needle should be carefully withdrawn. Incorrect use of the product can cause tissue damage, resulting in pain. When rinsing gingival pockets, the fluid jet should be directed at the surface of the tooth and not at the bottom of the pocket. Avoid excessive twisting and bending, which may disturb the integrity and cause the needle to brake. Use with luer-lock syringes only.
After use, dispose the product in a sheath as medical waste in appropriate containers due to the risk of injury. After use, needles may be contaminated with infectious substances, it is recommended to use personal protective equipment when disposing them. Any serious incidents involving the product should be reported to the manufacturer and the competent authority of the State in which the user or patient is domiciled.
